Questions To Avoid When You’ve Just Started Dating

Do you know the serious questions you should not ask your boyfriend

How many men have you chased away with the wrong questions asked at the wrong time?

When you first start dating someone you want to know everything about them. After all that’s how you’ll decide if he’s the man you want to spend the rest of your life with.

It’s only natural to ask your boyfriend questions to get to know what he wants in life and in a relationship. However there are some serious questions you should not ask your boyfriend.

If you have serious questions to ask your boyfriend, you may want to think about waiting. Some questions are best left until you’re ready for an exclusive relationship with each other.

There are some questions which may be proper as your relationship becomes more serious, but may scare off a man in the beginning. While these questions are important, they are not essential when you’re still dating.

How important am I to you? What do I mean to you? Do you love me?

While this is something you want to know, it’s not an appropriate question in the beginning of a relationship. How important you are to him in the beginning of dating will be different from when you’re in a committed relationship. However since actions speak louder than words, this is something you’ll see before you get a chance to ask the question. He’ll show how important you are to him by the way he treats you.

Are you still seeing other women? How many women are you dating right now?

Unless you’re in a committed relationship, the answer will probably be yes. If you are dating someone they can date other people until you both agree to an exclusive relationship. By the same token you should still be dating other men, and he should not have an issue with this.

How many women have you had sex with?

This is a loaded question. Most people who ask this question don’t really want to know the answer. No matter what a man or a woman for that matter says, the other person can have issue with it. Too few people can be as much of a problem to some people as too many. Think to yourself “why do I need to know this, does this really make a difference?” If it doesn’t, and it shouldn’t, don’t make you and your boyfriend feel uncomfortable.

How many children do you want to have?

Children may be a dealmaker or deal breaker for you. It is appropriate to ask if he plans on having a family in the future, but don’t start getting into specifics. You can delve deeper into this when you are deciding to make a commitment. Asking specific questions about having children and building a family will make your boyfriend feel things are moving too fast, which may cause him to back off.

While it may seem that these questions are innocent enough, if he’s serious, it’s important to remember in the beginning stages of a relationship he’s not. No matter how much fun you have together, how perfect you seem for each other and how much you want him to be the man of your dreams, he’s not serious about your relationship until he and you make a commitment to each other.

So, remember this there are some serious questions you should not ask your new boyfriend. Before commitment it may be better to ask questions that are more interesting, but fun, and avoid the serious ones until you’re ready for an exclusive relationship.

What are some other serious questions you should not ask your boyfriend in the beginning of your relationship? Share your thoughts.
